The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olimpiu Vârnav stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dino Maquiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Oblemenco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. If Iwan Banach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Eantdit FK got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Braica. When Lode Rouvroys came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Kickers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lode Rouvroys couldn't finish the play. The Eantdit FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Oblemenco should have stopped the shot. The Kickers United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kickers United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
