A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Nightmare's goal looked a bit too open when Fatih Özbay came free, but Edmund Lenertej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Lenertej didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fatih Özbay went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Fatih Özbay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 蚂蚁在路上 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 27th minute, Fatih Özbay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmund Lenertej was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After having played for 31 minutes, Fatih Özbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 蚂蚁在路上's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fatih Özbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Guy Grimault was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nightmare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 蚂蚁在路上 the free kick. The supporters of 蚂蚁在路上 booed when Nightmare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoff Turner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fatih Özbay to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Benitez scored 1-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alonso Suloaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Nightmare's Edmund Lenertej got control of the ball when Fatih Özbay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmund Lenertej made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Fatih Özbay sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Benitez in the 81st minute of play forced 蚂蚁在路上's goalkeeper Alonso Suloaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 蚂蚁在路上 made a substitution. 俞平强 replaced Ramiro Urbasa. Nightmare made a substitution. Ademir de Sena replaced Marco Benitez. 蚂蚁在路上's 叶铮广 was substituted for 陶城耀. Alonso Suloaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Pryla in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, 蚂蚁在路上's 赵烽亦 got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Witold Pryla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Suloaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
