Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evandro Azeredo started the match with the kick off. Franklin Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Portugal in the 5th minute of play. If Alcides Gama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Châtaigniers short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Jacob Lameiras to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 13 played minutes, LA COSA NOSTRA's Adérito Castro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franklin Valognes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LA COSA NOSTRA reached it. Jacob Lameiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Philip in the 15th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Jacob Lameiras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steevy Blondelle. In the 25th minute, Alcides Gama got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27th play minutes Alcides Gama shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Franklin Valognes and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alcides Gama in the 31st minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Franklin Valognes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franklin Valognes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Azeredo in the 32nd minute of the match. Franklin Valognes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Mascarenhas in the 34th minute of play. Joey Philip charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joey Philip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Lyon 69ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joey Philip to maneuver through the defense. LA COSA NOSTRA's Alcides Gama got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alcides Gama took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franklin Valognes. Franklin Valognes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joey Philip to make the kick off. If Evandro Azeredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of LA COSA NOSTRA booed when Lyon 69ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Philip didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Peseiro to maneuver through the defense. Steevy Blondelle struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jacob Lameiras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyon 69ers. Lyon 69ers's Steven Louchet was substituted for Josselin Goursaud. 70 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Mascarenhas came free, but Franklin Valognes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lyon 69ers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adérito Castro was slow to take the kick. During this time LA COSA NOSTRA's players had a chance to rest. Alcides Gama hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Joey Philip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Lameiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Joey Philip had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacob Lameiras. LA COSA NOSTRA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joey Philip was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Pacôme Bousquiet hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Adérito Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franklin Valognes skillfully saved the ball. In the 97th minute, Adalberto Peseiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Joey Philip was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 98 minutes had been played. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LA COSA NOSTRA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
