Iker Simon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leal Valido showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Leal Valido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Iker Simon made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Altino Candeias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iker Simon. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. After 12 played minutes LA COSA NOSTRA got a freekick which was hit by Hilário Soeiro. In the 15th minute, Gabriel Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mesere's Iker Simon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mesere from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adérito Castro during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 25 minutes into the game, Leal Valido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Iker Simon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Portugal struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Iker Simon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA COSA NOSTRA. Leal Valido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Iker Simon made a huge save. In the 31st minute, LA COSA NOSTRA's Fabrício Toscano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iker Simon. Iker Simon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Inacio Tordesillas took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evandro Azeredo. Evandro Azeredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. A hard shot by Adérito Castro from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Iker Simon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Leal Valido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Iker Simon made a huge save. Inacio Tordesillas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Iker Simon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Durval Lage. Leal Valido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Iker Simon made a huge save. Afonso Portugal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Iker Simon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hustaz Cedron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mesere's Iker Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leal Valido in the 52nd minute of play. The LA COSA NOSTRA fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when LA COSA NOSTRA's Altino Candeias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. André Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The LA COSA NOSTRA fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when LA COSA NOSTRA's Leal Valido looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabrício Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Simon having to interfere. LA COSA NOSTRA's Evandro Azeredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save LA COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. André Brás's late challenge caught a Mesere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Brás helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Brás to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Jaunzuria Canta in the 88th minute really tested Evandro Azeredo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mesere's Iker Simon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adérito Castro in the 89th minute of play. Iker Simon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Altino Candeias went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LA COSA NOSTRA fully deserved thier win.
