Fokke Veenhuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Portugal in the 12th minute of the match. Evandro Azeredo was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Twan Lute capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Twan Lute really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. AC Pitt Bier's Fokke Veenhuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Portugal in the 18th minute of play. Fokke Veenhuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adérito Castro in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, LA COSA NOSTRA's Adriano Almeida got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Evandro Azeredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douwe Marin. AC Pitt Bier were furious when Wilfried Oude Kamphuis was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of LA COSA NOSTRA booed when AC Pitt Bier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfried Oude Kamphuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Leal Valido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fokke Veenhuis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. LA COSA NOSTRA's André Brás suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pieter-Jan Roeles during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Leal Valido made the kick off in the second half. Fokke Veenhuis made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Leal Valido sent off a good shot on target. Evandro Azeredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 88 minutes into the game, Frits Zeydeveld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Evandro Azeredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LA COSA NOSTRA's Altino Candeias got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the LA COSA NOSTRA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Pitt Bier.
