Bacary Sagna hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Laércio Vieira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bart Larivière. Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lyon 69ers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Altino Candeias scored to the left of an out of position Bart Larivière, making the score, 1-0. Bart Larivière made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Leal Valido sent off a good shot on target. In the 30thth minute of the game Altino Candeias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyon 69ers's Bart Larivière was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evandro Azeredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yazid Danton, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Steven Eckert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyon 69ers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA COSA NOSTRA the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Lyon 69ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Eckert to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leal Valido in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bart Larivière saved Lyon 69ers from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leal Valido was the one to do the kick off. Lyon 69ers's Bart Larivière played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altino Candeias in the 52nd minute of play. If Afonso Portugal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leal Valido in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bart Larivière saved Lyon 69ers from getting behind. LA COSA NOSTRA's Evandro Azeredo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save LA COSA NOSTRA from getting a goal against them. Leal Valido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, LA COSA NOSTRA's goalkeeper Evandro Azeredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omer Garry. In the 75th minute, Yazid Danton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match Laércio Vieira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bart Larivière skillfully saved the ball. In the 79th match minute, LA COSA NOSTRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Portugal hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Yazid Danton took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Evandro Azeredo to make any attempt to save it.
