In the 3rd minute Yazid Danton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Oryl to maneuver through the defense. Nightmare's Beniamin Sedzikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omer Garry in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yazid Danton in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beniamin Sedzikowski saved Nightmare from getting behind. The supporters of Lyon 69ers booed when Nightmare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Cwojdak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Larivière made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Cwojdak in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Nightmare getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Radomir Ciborek hit a great ball. Beniamin Sedzikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Manche in the 29th minute of the match. The wind increased when Bartosz Cwojdak made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lyon 69ers's Bacary Sagna got a free kick in the 51st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Steevy Harbonnier put in a rough tackle. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lyon 69ers! Jedrzej Olchawa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Omer Garry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Yazid Danton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beniamin Sedzikowski. Nightmare's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yazid Danton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Roland Drugi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyon 69ers's Guy Melchior was substituted for Keon Starks. After 68 played minutes Nightmare got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Figlewski. The audience was convinced that Yazid Danton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beniamin Sedzikowski was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, Cezary Figlewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Allain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Beniamin Sedzikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Omer Garry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the game, Lyon 69ers's Yazid Danton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beniamin Sedzikowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 92 minutes into the match, Nightmare's goal looked a bit too open when Yazid Danton came free, but Beniamin Sedzikowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Nightmare fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lyon 69ers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
