After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Michel Manche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyon 69ers's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Manche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 31 played minutes Lyon 69ers got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Allain. In the 37th minute, Zaaki Ibrahimović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zinedine Zidan in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bart Larivière prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

In the 52nd minute Yazid Danton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Söderqwist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Real Södertälje got a freekick which was hit by Georg Emander. Real Södertälje made a substitution. Jens-Åke Hellbom replaced Zaaki Ibrahimović. Georg Emander kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Rayanne Périchon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wiktor Söderqwist. Real Södertälje's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bart Larivière made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Fredriksson in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match Georg Emander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bart Larivière skillfully saved the ball. In the 88th match minute, Lyon 69ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keon Starks to maneuver through the defense. Real Södertälje's Edwin Siggman got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lyon 69ers's Omer Garry got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Södertälje had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
