In the 14th minute Markus Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kristoffer Kildeskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Edman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Glanselius having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, Real Södertälje's Markus Svensson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yoto Boshikyov was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Frænkel came free, but Jack Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 31st minute of play forced 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Edman in the 37th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jakob Källberg in the 38th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 12 Monkeys's Isaias Frutos. When Rikard Wolff came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Real Södertälje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rikard Wolff couldn't finish the play. Zaaki Ibrahimović hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Kristoffer Kildeskov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Glanselius having to interfere. Franz Karms helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Real Södertälje booed when 12 Monkeys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Karms didn't get a good kick on the ball. Real Södertälje's Markus Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Södertälje's Urki Regalado was substituted for Jakob Källberg.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldemar Frænkel made a kick off. After 56 minutes, Joseph Edman made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Real Södertälje's Jack Glanselius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yoto Boshikyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yoto Boshikyov came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Södertälje's Markus Svensson. But to his dismay, Markus Svensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Franz Karms made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Waldemar Frænkel. In the 69th minute, Markus Svensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Södertälje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 74 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Jack Glanselius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Edman. In the 77th minute, Sigvart Botlev had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Conny Komen fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Södertälje's protests and gave Conny Komen a yellow card for diving instead. 12 Monkeys made a substitution. Rupert Grimstrup replaced Sigvart Botlev. The player immediately received a yellow card. Real Södertälje's Birger Hedberg was substituted for Guillaume Waeberghe. A collision led to 12 Monkeys getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Waldemar Frænkel hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Markus Svensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yoto Boshikyov was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 98th minute of play forced 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
