Jan Lindström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Markus Svensson went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jan Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 28th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Jan Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Södertälje's Jack Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel Oakley in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Real Södertälje defense, Radamel Oakley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Glanselius. The Real Södertälje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Glanselius should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, André Pettersson notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Real Södertälje's Jack Glanselius. Jack Glanselius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mark Brovall hit a great ball. Jan Lindström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Svensson in the 78th minute. Jan Lindström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Markus Svensson went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. After 84 minutes of play, Surahammar's André Pettersson made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 89th minute, Markus Svensson made a precise shot to the right of Jan Lindström. Surahammar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. Jack Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Södertälje eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
