If Victor Santxol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yoto Boshikyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Santxol in the 17th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boje Stormoen during the 18th minute. Yoto Boshikyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Santxol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radamel Oakley took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yoto Boshikyov. Yoto Boshikyov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 47th minute Victor Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The 12 Monkeys players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Surahammar were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Santxol was the one to do the kick off. Victor Santxol in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yoto Boshikyov, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jan Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Frænkel in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov got control of the ball when André Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yoto Boshikyov made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Pettersson in the 66th minute. 69 minutes in the game Boje Stormoen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kristoffer Kildeskov. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Surahammar walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
