Barış Akdoğ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd match minute, 12 Monkeys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balder Buurskov to maneuver through the defense. Yoto Boshikyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Ozan Aybar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kristoffer Kildeskov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Barış Akdoğ made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kartal Müfit couldn't finish the play. The 12 Monkeys supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 12 Monkeys would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
