In the 4th minute Joseph Edman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Bond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Leon Swanson made a precise shot to the right of Yoto Boshikyov. 12 Monkeys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tim Hurren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Yoto Boshikyov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldemar Frænkel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, 12 Monkeys's Kristoffer Kildeskov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Hurren in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldemar Frænkel in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Bond saved Witney City from getting behind. The supporters of 12 Monkeys booed when Witney City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Berry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witney City's Tommy Bond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Witney City from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Hurren in the 33rd minute of play forced 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Witney City's Tim Hurren in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 12 Monkeys's goalie prevented a goal. When Chip Archer fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Witney City's protests and gave Chip Archer a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Witney City got a freekick which was hit by Chip Archer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Frænkel in the 38th minute of play forced Witney City's goalkeeper Tommy Bond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph Edman scored 2-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Bond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the game, Joseph Edman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Bond. Joseph Edman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
The wind increased when Waldemar Frænkel made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Witney City's Tod Berry slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yoto Boshikyov. That made the score 3-3 after 50 minutes of play. Tommy Bond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Kildeskov in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Witney City's Tim Hurren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yoto Boshikyov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, 12 Monkeys's Joseph Edman got a free kick in the 60th minute. 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save 12 Monkeys from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd minute Witney City were awarded a corner. Igor Kyulafliyski went to the cornerflag to take it. 63 minutes into the match, Tim Hurren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yoto Boshikyov. 12 Monkeys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tim Hurren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. 69 minutes into the match, Joseph Edman notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Witney City's Tommy Bond. Tommy Bond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute Joseph Edman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Bond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Bond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Edman in the 74th minute of the match. Tommy Bond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Edman, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Witney City's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Edman came free, but Tommy Bond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yoto Boshikyov made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Tim Hurren sent off a good shot on target. Tim Hurren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Yoto Boshikyov made a huge save. 81 minutes into the game, Tim Hurren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yoto Boshikyov. Tim Hurren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-5. Yoto Boshikyov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Hurren in the 86th minute. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by 12 Monkeys's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Igor Kyulafliyski was slow to take the kick. During this time Witney City's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Igor Kyulafliyski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but 12 Monkeys's Yoto Boshikyov did a great save. The Witney City fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Witney City's Tim Hurren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The 12 Monkeys supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Witney City's performance. The match ended with a win for Witney City.
