When Jedrzej Kasprzak came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Nagyváradi AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jedrzej Kasprzak couldn't finish the play. Nagyváradi AC's Ábel Zarka got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerard van Diemen hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Laurens Oosterman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ábel Zarka in the 16th minute. Jos Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jouke Jacobs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kasprzak came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Danny van den Hoogen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 26th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Laurens Oosterman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jedrzej Kasprzak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laurens Oosterman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 28th minute of play. Danny van den Hoogen charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danny van den Hoogen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to De Pelgrims getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Danny van den Hoogen hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kasprzak came free, but Laurens Oosterman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Koos Keupink's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jos Van Hinnendael was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Koos Keupink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jos Van Hinnendael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jedrzej Kasprzak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laurens Oosterman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in De Pelgrims's zone, Jedrzej Kasprzak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurens Oosterman came out of the goal and Jedrzej Kasprzak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laurens Oosterman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ákos Szél in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laurens Oosterman saved De Pelgrims from getting behind. In the 69th minute Jedrzej Kasprzak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurens Oosterman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurens Oosterman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Jos Van Hinnendael successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emiel Dilling's late challenge caught a Nagyváradi AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiel Dilling helped the player get up and apologised. Emiel Dilling kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Jos Van Hinnendael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elbert Spanjer in the 95th minute of the match. A collision led to De Pelgrims getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Herman Craandijk hit a great ball. Nagyváradi AC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
