Rapinantes F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jasper Staarman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Rapinantes F.C.'s Cauan Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elbert Spanjer in the 12th minute of play. When Tonnie Ter came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tonnie Ter couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Elbert Spanjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Staarman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Herman Craandijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Jan Klasen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan Neves. Rapinantes F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Klasen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 26th play minutes Jasper Staarman shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Cauan Neves and just under the crossbar into goal. Elbert Spanjer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerônimo Esteves got free with Laurens Oosterman in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cauan Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koos Keupink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Jasper Staarman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Cauan Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute Koos Keupink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman Craandijk in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elbert Spanjer in the 42nd minute of play forced Rapinantes F.C.'s goalkeeper Cauan Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurens Oosterman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sílvio Abraão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 44 minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Koos Keupink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan Neves. Rapinantes F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koos Keupink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jasper Staarman made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasper Staarman got free with Cauan Neves in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cauan Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koos Keupink in the 55th minute of play. Cauan Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elbert Spanjer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cauan Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elbert Spanjer went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Cauan Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jasper Staarman's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute Jan Klasen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Neves was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Jasper Staarman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jasper Staarman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-9. Rapinantes F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jasper Staarman 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-10. Rapinantes F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Elbert Spanjer scored to the left of an out of position Cauan Neves, making the score, 1-12. 86 minutes into the match, Jasper Staarman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cauan Neves. Rapinantes F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jasper Staarman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-13. Cauan Neves was a little too slow when Jasper Staarman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-14. The crowd rose to their feet as De Pelgrims's Herman Craandijk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cauan Neves. That made the score 1-15 after 93 minutes of play. With a little luck, Rapinantes F.C.'s Cauan Neves got control of the ball when Koos Keupink tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Herman Craandijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. De Pelgrims's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
