After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Yavuzalp Mesut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sielce Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Yavuzalp Mesut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Øverås breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Bonet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didier Gobbelijns read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yavuzalp Mesut in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jo Øverås saved Daustad from getting behind. Didier Gobbelijns didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Bonet went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Didier Gobbelijns made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Luis Bonet sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Yavuzalp Mesut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sielce Warszawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Luis Bonet made the kick off in the second half. If Luis Bonet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peng Song Ting made a great header on Daustad's corner, it was just that Sielce Warszawa's Didier Gobbelijns managed to reach the ball for a save. Didier Gobbelijns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Sielce Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Zima.
