The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd play minute Luis Bonet came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ysmael Marfil. 1-0. Ryszard Borcz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Dorin Agârbiceanu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Daustad's Bodo Glimbæk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Bonet in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes DINAMO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peng Song Ting who took care of the corner kick. When Daustad's Luis Bonet in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. After 22 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Agârbiceanu. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute of the match Daustad got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peng Song Ting ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Peng Song Ting got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ysmael Marfil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute of the match Daustad got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peng Song Ting ran over to the corner to take the kick. 32 minutes into the game, Daustad's Luis Bonet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ysmael Marfil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When DINAMO's Albert Filipoiu in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 43rd match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Agârbiceanu to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the game, Daustad's Luis Bonet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ysmael Marfil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Cina made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bonet in the 51st minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Ysmael Marfil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Agârbiceanu got free with Jo Øverås in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ysmael Marfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 70th minute of play. Luis Bonet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ysmael Marfil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Jo Øverås made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Albert Filipoiu sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Traian Stoiculescu during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ysmael Marfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bonet in the 83rd minute of the match. Dorin Agârbiceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorin Agârbiceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dorin Agârbiceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. During the 86th minute of the match Dorin Agârbiceanu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dorin Agârbiceanu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 86th minute, Dorin Agârbiceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by DINAMO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peng Song Ting was slow to take the kick. During this time Daustad's players had a chance to rest. Peng Song Ting made a great header on Daustad's corner, it was just that DINAMO's Ysmael Marfil managed to reach the ball for a save. After 91 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by He Jing. Augustin Văduvescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Bonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
