Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Perivaldo Eger started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Erben Roelofs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Pelgrims and the Daustad players grew even worse after the yellow card. 5 minutes into the match, Alfons Arvidsson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of De Pelgrims's Mike Zoetmulder. Mike Zoetmulder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, De Pelgrims's Montrel Perpiñán got a free kick in the 7th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias de Ruijter in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jo Øverås prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfons Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, De Pelgrims's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Arvidsson came free, but Mike Zoetmulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Eger came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Mathias de Ruijter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Eger in the 27th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberigo Mancini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mike Zoetmulder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Daustad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bodo Glimbæk to maneuver through the defense. Alfons Arvidsson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Eger came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Alfons Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Zoetmulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo Øverås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Eger in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Daustad were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfons Arvidsson to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfons Arvidsson in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mike Zoetmulder saved De Pelgrims from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Arvidsson in the 56th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jo Øverås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias de Ruijter in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perivaldo Eger in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jo Øverås prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Huub Gerrits got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jo Øverås didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias de Ruijter went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Arvidsson in the 80th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Mike Zoetmulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Alfons Arvidsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Daustad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Daustad were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant De Pelgrims side.
