The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Ortle Sancho lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Herbert Pazura. Herbert Pazura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarmo Laik in the 8th minute. Ortle Sancho scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Pazura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dominic Salazar scored 3-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Pazura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barry McCray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ortle Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Herbert Pazura skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th minute, Barry McCray reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herbert Pazura. The goal made the score 6-0. In the 30th minute, Modlau's Ortle Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herbert Pazura. Herbert Pazura yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. In the 33rd match minute, Modlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ortle Sancho to maneuver through the defense. Ortle Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Herbert Pazura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Barry McCray struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Herbert Pazura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Modlau. Modlau's Lew Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Ziemniak in the 42nd minute of play. Pyrlandia Gostyń's Herbert Pazura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ortle Sancho in the 44th minute of play. Marcin Fronczak hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ortle Sancho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pyrlandia Gostyń's zone, Ortle Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Pazura came out of the goal and Ortle Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Modlau fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Modlau's Dominic Salazar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 62nd minute, Boruc Kornatowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ortle Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66thth minute of the game Ortle Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pyrlandia Gostyń's Herbert Pazura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wlodzimierz Michnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lew Yashin having to interfere. Modlau's Yanislav Lechev was substituted for Damazy Jucha. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barry McCray in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Pazura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th match minute, Modlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juliusz Slazak to maneuver through the defense. Juliusz Slazak scored 10-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Pazura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barry McCray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80th play minutes Dominic Salazar shot 11-0, a short shot which went by Herbert Pazura and just under the crossbar into goal. Herbert Pazura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barry McCray went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. After 92 minutes of play, Modlau's Juliusz Slazak made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Pazura was left in no man's land by his defense there!
