In the 17th minute, Tom Beaune left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyon 69ers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 20th minute Tom Beaune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joris Verheecke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Elazar Calderon put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Guy Durant. Joris Verheecke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Beaune, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tom Beaune in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joris Verheecke saved Wisła Tczew from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Mathias Lecanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elazar Calderon in the 42nd minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Guy Durant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Monge Mong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wisła Tczew's supporters rose to their feet, but Monge Mong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Durant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wisła Tczew's Joris Verheecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatol Hönes in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Anatol Hönes made the kick off in the second half. Anatol Hönes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Joris Verheecke made a huge save. Anatol Hönes took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joris Verheecke. Joris Verheecke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 56th minute, Anatol Hönes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joris Verheecke. The goal made the score 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Beaune got free with Joris Verheecke in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the game, Tom Beaune cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Joris Verheecke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Lyon 69ers booed when Wisła Tczew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elazar Calderon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lyon 69ers's Sebastian Silvian shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joris Verheecke but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Wisła Tczew's Joris Verheecke got control of the ball when Tom Beaune tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mathias Lecanu struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Joris Verheecke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyon 69ers. In the 80th minute, Rodolphe Sol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elazar Calderon succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-5. When Lech Wojtyna came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Wisła Tczew fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lech Wojtyna couldn't finish the play. After 89 played minutes Wisła Tczew got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Marut. Lyon 69ers's Marian Racoviceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Wisła Tczew fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lyon 69ers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
