Rodolphe Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. André Onana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Lyon 69ers were awarded a corner. Marian Racoviceanu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Marian Racoviceanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sielce Warszawa's André Onana did a great save. 10 minutes into the match, Lyon 69ers's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Haskiewicz came free, but Guy Durant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavel Vulinec kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Roman Kaczynski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Guy Durant made a huge save. In the 27th minute Janusz Haskiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Durant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatol Hönes in the 32nd minute of play forced Sielce Warszawa's goalkeeper André Onana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Kaczynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Durant having to interfere. A collision led to Lyon 69ers getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rodolphe Sol hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Lyon 69ers defense, Janusz Haskiewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guy Durant. The Lyon 69ers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guy Durant should have stopped the shot. Tom Beaune charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Beaune the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lyon 69ers getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tom Beaune hit a great ball. Guy Durant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Haskiewicz in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anatol Hönes made a kick off. The throw-in from Romaric Orsoni in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sielce Warszawa's Leon Karp. In the 58th minute Janusz Haskiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Durant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Vulinec kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Anatol Hönes came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Lyon 69ers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anatol Hönes couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Anatol Hönes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Onana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Lyon 69ers's Anatol Hönes in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sielce Warszawa's goalie prevented a goal. Guy Durant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janusz Haskiewicz in the 71st minute of play. Sielce Warszawa made a substitution. Du Shu Yuan replaced Apolo Lia. Sielce Warszawa's Edin Džeko was substituted for Janusz Haskiewicz. Roman Kaczynski hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. André Onana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatol Hönes in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Guy Durant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match Sielce Warszawa got a corner. Lyon 69ers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edin Džeko ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Edin Džeko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guy Durant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sielce Warszawa's André Onana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Sielce Warszawa from getting a goal against them. Robert Grunwalski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Edin Džeko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sielce Warszawa succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Lyon 69ers had controlled the match.
