Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jan Kjellman started the match with the kick off. Virgilio Marcilla made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Jan Kjellman sent off a good shot on target. Harald Söderström hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in PERSPOLIS's zone, Eric Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Marcilla came out of the goal and Eric Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Ström in the 21st minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Virgilio Marcilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, PERSPOLIS's Baltazar Vives nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Bröms made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Elias Bröms showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Delgado in the 31st minute of the match. If Jan Kjellman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Ove Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Frosta Härad IF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tommy Lindsten hit a great ball. Jaizki Lacorte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Gaston Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PERSPOLIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaizki Lacorte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Bröms having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaizki Lacorte made a kick off. In the 54th minute Baltazar Vives shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Bröms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xuaco Otero hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Ström in the 62nd minute of play. Virgilio Marcilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Delgado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elias Bröms firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Xuaco Otero fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PERSPOLIS's protests and gave Xuaco Otero a yellow card for diving instead. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by PERSPOLIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Ove Henriksson was slow to take the kick. During this time Frosta Härad IF's players had a chance to rest. After 84 minutes of play, PERSPOLIS's Jaizki Lacorte made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Bröms was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Jaizki Lacorte took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Elias Bröms to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaizki Lacorte during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jaizki Lacorte kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Espartaco Castellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute of the match Karl-Ove Henriksson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Marcilla skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle sounded PERSPOLIS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Frosta Härad IF.
