The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 5 in the game by Ingemar Lövgren from a close distance when the talented Virgilio Marcilla managed to make a qualified save. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's Gaston Delgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincent Kjellqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anders Ahlrot hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Gaston Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the PERSPOLIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Delgado couldn't finish the play. Jonas Carlsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgilio Marcilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Carlsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Vincent Kjellqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Delgado in the 23rd minute of the match. Vincent Kjellqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Vives, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Kjellqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curcio Amer in the 27th minute of play. Virgilio Marcilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Uggla in the 30th minute of play. PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Uggla in the 38th minute of play. When Baltazar Vives came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the PERSPOLIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Vives couldn't finish the play. Donatello Incera scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincent Kjellqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingemar Lövgren was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fårdala FF's goal looked a bit too open when Curcio Amer came free, but Vincent Kjellqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Curcio Amer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oskar Bredberg kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Baltazar Vives fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Kjellqvist having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Anders Ahlrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curcio Amer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vincent Kjellqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Delgado in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingemar Lövgren in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Marcilla saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Curcio Amer took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Vincent Kjellqvist to make any attempt to save it. Gaston Delgado came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vincent Kjellqvist could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hjalmar Ekström during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Fårdala FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hjalmar Ekström to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in PERSPOLIS's zone, Ingemar Lövgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Marcilla came out of the goal and Ingemar Lövgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Delgado got free with Vincent Kjellqvist in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fårdala FF's Vincent Kjellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curcio Amer in the 87th minute of play. Mikael Nordin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Fårdala FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PERSPOLIS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
