Hélio Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Bryan Deery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Marian Beninda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bryan Deery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Vaz in the 12th minute of play. Hélio Vaz took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryan Deery. Bryan Deery dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Vaz came free, but Bryan Deery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hélio Vaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bryan Deery was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Tiomoid Doherty hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ignacy Zagrobelny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiomoid Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hélio Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Deery having to interfere. After 33 minutes of play, KS LEW Chorzów's Marian Beninda made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Deery was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrick McDonald got free with Ignacy Zagrobelny in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes, Hélio Vaz made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. 1948 MKS's Bryan Deery tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Vaz in the 46th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Bryan Deery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Marian Beninda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bryan Deery came out and tried to block the shot, but Marian Beninda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 51st minute. Hélio Vaz got in the 54th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bryan Deery handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Bernard Milko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Donleavy Barrett came free, but Ignacy Zagrobelny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiomoid Doherty hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 1948 MKS's Bryan Deery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save 1948 MKS from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Beninda in the 72nd minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Bryan Deery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes of play, KS LEW Chorzów's Hélio Vaz made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Deery was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, KS LEW Chorzów's Hélio Vaz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bryan Deery. Bryan Deery yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Bryan Deery was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Hélio Vaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hélio Vaz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Bryan Deery was a little too slow when Hélio Vaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-10. Hélio Vaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bryan Deery having to make a save. Bryan Deery made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Hélio Vaz sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded KS LEW Chorzów left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 1948 MKS.
