Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Virgilio Marcilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kai Havertz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Marcilla came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Altar SK 1283's Kai Havertz. But to his dismay, Kai Havertz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Kai Havertz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Marcilla was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. If Kai Havertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hao Ning Chao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgilio Marcilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Hao Ning Chao slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Virgilio Marcilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Havertz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Gaston Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Delgado in the 21st minute of play forced Altar SK 1283's goalkeeper Batuhan Yalazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Kai Havertz from a close distance when the talented Virgilio Marcilla managed to make a qualified save. PERSPOLIS's players were relieved. Kai Havertz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kai Havertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35thth minute of the game Kai Havertz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Altar SK 1283's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Demircan Lokman in the 40th minute. Virgilio Marcilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kai Havertz's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatello Incera to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Curcio Amer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kai Havertz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hao Ning Chao in the 52nd minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Virgilio Marcilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes PERSPOLIS got a freekick which was hit by Carlitos Belalcaraz. If Demircan Lokman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute, Florian Azofra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Altar SK 1283 made a substitution. Balaban Ungur replaced Hao Ning Chao. Virgilio Marcilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kai Havertz's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Kai Havertz scored 4-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Marcilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Altar SK 1283 made a substitution. Baykal Asya replaced Demircan Lokman. PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai Havertz in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to PERSPOLIS getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Curcio Torres hit a great ball.
