If Beccan McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jack Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick McDonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jack Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donleavy Barrett in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Beccan McPaul came free, but Jack Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Brander in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryan Deery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Donleavy Barrett came free, but Jack Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiomoid Doherty in the 22nd minute of play. Jack Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donleavy Barrett, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Lidström to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Patrick McDonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryan Deery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, Köping's Stellan Söderqvist made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Deery was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Lidström came free, but Bryan Deery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Henning Beckeman fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köping's protests and gave Henning Beckeman a yellow card for diving instead. Beccan McPaul came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jack Lindgren could save by the left post. A collision led to Köping getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Stellan Söderqvist hit a great ball. When Henning Beckeman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. After 73 played minutes Köping got a freekick which was hit by Henning Beckeman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beccan McPaul got free with Jack Lindgren in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack Lindgren made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Beccan McPaul sent off a good shot on target. Jack Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Beccan McPaul in the 83rd minute. In the 84th match minute, 1948 MKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac McPaul to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Brander might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Deery. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrian Brander ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Patrick McDonald notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Köping's Jack Lindgren. Jack Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1948 MKS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
