When FC WAWER's He Qi Mo in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PERSPOLIS's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to FC WAWER getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Witomir Nigbor hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Owen Vera came free, but Virgilio Marcilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, FC WAWER's He Qi Mo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Marcilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 安柯 Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Vives in the 23rd minute of the match. He Qi Mo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Virgilio Marcilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC WAWER. Owen Vera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Marcilla having to interfere. If He Qi Mo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Virgilio Marcilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from He Qi Mo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC WAWER's He Qi Mo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to PERSPOLIS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Donatello Incera hit a great ball. In the 35th minute He Qi Mo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Marcilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC WAWER were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after PERSPOLIS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mikolaj Majtyka took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Vives in the 38th minute of play forced FC WAWER's goalkeeper 安柯 Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, FC WAWER's He Qi Mo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgilio Marcilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Curcio Amer made a kick off. The audience was convinced that He Qi Mo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Marcilla was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After some careless play in the PERSPOLIS defense, He Qi Mo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Marcilla. The PERSPOLIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Marcilla should have stopped the shot. When He Qi Mo came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC WAWER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that He Qi Mo couldn't finish the play. FC WAWER's Wellington Recife was substituted for Eduard Boșneag. Wellington Recife received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Virgilio Marcilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Wellington Recife slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 68th minute. If Owen Vera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes of play, FC WAWER's Wellington Recife made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Marcilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virgilio Marcilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wellington Recife showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 80 minute of play. Alvaro Pérez Garcías short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Virgilio Marcilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 88 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's Xuaco Otero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 安柯 Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wellington Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Virgilio Marcilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Pérez García recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 minutes, Wellington Recife made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. PERSPOLIS's Virgilio Marcilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Pérez García sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The PERSPOLIS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC WAWER were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
