Niklas Skager kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolf Bersner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Egil Hellström. That made the score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. Ejvin Møllekær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Larsson in the 28th minute of play. Egil Hellström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 69 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Helsgaard came free, but Egil Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Bersner's late challenge caught a Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolf Bersner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Skellerup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Bersner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skellerup FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
