The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niclas Svanberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Justo Sagrario in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Niclas Svanberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Justo Sagrario ran back to his position shaking his head. Birger Grep was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 85th match minute, LA VIOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Grep to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Sagrario came free, but Niclas Svanberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Águilas Poblanas were the better team. Águilas Poblanas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
