The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ulf Wallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Tiberiu got free with Ulf Wallman in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Emanuel Tiberiu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Köping's Ulf Wallman. Ulf Wallman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Köping's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Emanuel Tiberiu scored to the left of an out of position Ulf Wallman, making the score, 2-0. Ulf Wallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Nils-Åke Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Costică Vărzaru came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Delphine Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Vărzaru couldn't finish the play. In the 27th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Cudalb to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Tiberiu in the 29th minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Ulf Wallman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Köping's Ulf Wallman got control of the ball when Mugur Gorcea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulf Wallman was a little too slow when Mugur Gorcea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 4-0. Köping's Ulf Wallman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Tiberiu in the 38th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Costică Vărzaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Emanuel Tiberiu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulf Wallman, 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulrik Västberg to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jon Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Dag Strand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Mugur Gorcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Wallman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Costică Vărzaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulf Wallman was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Costică Vărzaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Wallman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasile Chira kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Jon Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Delphine Stars reached it. 82 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Tiberiu came free, but Ulf Wallman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Wallman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Tiberiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Taşcău in the 87th minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Ulf Wallman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costică Vărzaru in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Wallman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nils-Åke Arvidsson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Emil Rădoi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulf Wallman skillfully saved the ball. Delphine Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Köping for a fine match.
