GKS Milenium's Artur Brack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Milenium from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by 董昆强 in the 19th minute of play forced Exército Português's goalkeeper Laurențiu Gaciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Exército Português's Laurențiu Gaciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan José Ferraro in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Lech Trynda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Exército Português's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Milenium the free kick. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Exército Português! In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for GKS Milenium. 董昆强 stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Laurențiu Gaciu. 0-1. Laurențiu Gaciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan José Ferraro in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Exército Português's Marian Axinte got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Gerard Cieślik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Meireles made a kick off. Artur Brack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Soveral in the 53rd minute of play. Armando Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Brack having to interfere. Exército Português's Laurențiu Gaciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Exército Português from getting a goal against them. Artur Brack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Soveral in the 59th minute of play. Artur Brack stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Soveral's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Exército Português's Laurențiu Gaciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Exército Português from getting a goal against them. Artur Brack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Soveral in the 67th minute of the match. Laurențiu Gaciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 董昆强, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Bruno Soveral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Exército Português's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Soveral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Brack breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GKS Milenium's Kajetan Maziarski was substituted for Juan José Ferraro. GKS Milenium's Vito Tasso was substituted for 董昆强. GKS Milenium made a substitution. Hieronim Majewski replaced Gerard Cieślik. Armando Meireles hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th match minute, GKS Milenium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Sienkowski to maneuver through the defense.
