The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KFC Cromvelde's goalie and right to Iulian Berceanu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KFC Cromvelde's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Batistuta in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Cosmin Contra got a free kick in the 20th minute. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when James Batistuta came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Alessandro Del Piero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Louis Van Bever made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Berceanu in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 34th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 38th minute of the match. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Alessandro Del Piero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, James Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jean-Louis Van Bever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mathijs Rokeloos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Glenn Fyfe made a huge save. After the first half A4p FC Gad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathijs Rokeloos to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, James Batistuta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jean-Louis Van Bever saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by 邱振广 with Iulian Berceanu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Mathijs Rokeloos got free in front of the goal in the 61st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Glenn Fyfe was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Anfilogino Manzi replaced Erasmo Damião. Glenn Fyfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé 武松, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathijs Rokeloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Flavius Cândroveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 83rd minute of play. Jean-Louis Van Bever stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavius Cândroveanu's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute, Herman Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes, A4p FC Gad's Marcin Pachucki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A4p FC Gad reached it. Dumitru Purcărete hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. A4p FC Gad played a much better game than KFC Cromvelde and deserved their victory. The KFC Cromvelde players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
