Ovidiu Caranfil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Türkeş Akşit suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Roberto Carlos's late challenge caught a Andırın SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Carlos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Carlos to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Caranfil acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Türkeş Uğuralp. Zhu Ao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Iurea, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lou Mazuret in the 22nd minute of play. Andırın SK's Zhu Ao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Benne in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Zhu Ao was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vasile Iurea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. He Feng Bin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zhu Ao firmly grabbed it by the left post.
