Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tiger Argoud kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 3rd minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiger Argoud did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jimmy Olsson 6 minutes into the match. If Julien Staffelbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 11th minute of play. Rodrigo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 12th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Albin Nilsson. Rodrigo Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvid Carlsson's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Staffelbach came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Staffelbach in the 24th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tavo Tomat hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Pascoal Espírito Santo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimmy Olsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Ivan Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Witarya, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Rodrigo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julien Staffelbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arvid Carlsson made a kick off. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Nilsson in the 57th minute of play. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Machados FC V2 from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Tiger Argoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 63rd minute of play. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Cebrian in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Machados FC V2 defense, Julien Staffelbach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Lima. The Machados FC V2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Lima should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arvid Carlsson in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Santos Cebrian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machados FC V2's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Cebrian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Olsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Linköpings AIK's Marbjörn Garpsson was substituted for Stefan Blomqvist. The supporters of Linköpings AIK booed when Machados FC V2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascoal Espírito Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Matthias Tham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brin Jeromen hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match, Marbjörn Garpsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rodrigo Lima was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jimmy Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiger Argoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute Santos Cebrian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Linköpings AIK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
