A sloppy throw-in by Horacio Oliverios in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Albardón F.C's Bartolomé Companys. The crowd rose to their feet as Pavao Zadro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eustaquio Tulio. That made the score 1-0 in the 44 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prospero Perico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
