Maximino Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, TIBURON F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Junior came free, but Maximino Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Seaman made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Honorio Justin sent off a good shot on target. Carolo Llorenc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but David Seaman made a huge save. In the 24th minute Paco Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Jenipapo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Cunha to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jenipapo SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clemente Azeari was slow to take the kick. During this time TIBURON F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Clemente Azeari almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jenipapo SC's David Seaman did a great save. After a rather tough play, Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano got a free kick in the 29th minute. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dylan Browne hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Clemente Azeari recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Seaman. Clemente Azeari showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Aníbal Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Satordi in the 38th minute of play. If Raphael Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Llorenc got free with David Seaman in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Paco Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Justin to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Raphael Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jenipapo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Merexildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Satordi came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Jenipapo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Justin came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
