Borys Gruchacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Lara came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mané Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Mané Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Armindo Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 minutes of play, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Mané Lara made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute.
