The tension between the Linköpings AIK and the SV Balverliefd players grew even worse after the yellow card. SV Balverliefd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Homan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Linköpings AIK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Balverliefd were winning 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Homan made a kick off. In the 51st minute Arvid Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steven Homan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jimmy Olsson made a huge save. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing SV Balverliefd to win.
