After 4 minutes Cascade Park West's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felix van As who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SV Balverliefd's Felix van As to fire away a dangerous shot which Dario Wilhelm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Yorrick Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Dario Wilhelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steven Homan in the 10th minute. Steven Homan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Wilhelm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Steven Homan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dario Wilhelm came out and tried to block the shot, but Steven Homan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven Homan in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Wilhelm saved Cascade Park West from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amir Lee in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yorrick Zoethout saved SV Balverliefd from getting behind. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allen Dalton in the 23rd minute of play. Yorrick Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldo Renteria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Allen Dalton kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, SV Balverliefd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Homan to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldo Renteria to maneuver through the defense. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Homan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Steven Homan made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Homan in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Wilhelm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SV Balverliefd from getting a goal against them. Yorrick Zoethout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amir Lee in the 69th minute. If Steven Homan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rashad Richardson made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rolland Hobbs. When Steven Homan came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the SV Balverliefd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steven Homan couldn't finish the play. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Homan in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Wang Sha Qian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. SV Balverliefd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wang Sha Qian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Cascade Park West made a substitution. Isidro Singleton replaced Claude Joyner. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldo Renteria in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Singleton in the 95th minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SV Balverliefd support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
