Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 17 minutes, Albin Nilsson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nestor Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvid Carlsson in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Cortez saved Lobos de Carelia from getting behind. After 28 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Perico. The audience was convinced that Albin Nilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Cortez was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Montrel to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 35th minute of the match. Joakim Mikaelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Albin Nilsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arvid Carlsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Nilsson in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Julien Staffelbach reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nestor Cortez. The goal made the score 0-3. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fabrício Castanheira hit a great ball. Jimmy Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Perico in the 61st minute of the match. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 72nd minute of play. Saul Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Olsson having to interfere. Arvid Carlsson in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nestor Cortez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Prospero Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jimmy Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Nilsson in the 91st minute of play. Linköpings AIK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
