An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Jerardo in the 21st minute of play forced SV Balverliefd's goalkeeper Yorrick Zoethout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yorrick Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Yorrick Zoethout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Stenberg. 32 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yorrick Zoethout narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Melker Gudmundsson lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Sandalio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Pastor Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout got control of the ball when Pastor Ado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Virgil Lindelöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere. Isidro Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Yorrick Zoethout made a huge save. Errecaborda AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pastor Ado in the 73rd minute. Manuel Theobald charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Theobald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Theobald hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Rogelio Jakes got a free kick in the 95th minute. The SV Balverliefd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Errecaborda AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Errecaborda AFC.
