The audience thought a goal was coming when Xinto Carreiras got free with Rune Jarstein in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute Zé Paulo da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Horquizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Nienhaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Gigel Elenescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Horquizar was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 25th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Maximo Horquizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein got control of the ball when Maureen Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Xinto Carreiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Wilhelm Nienhaus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar did a great save. Maximo Horquizar came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus. But to his dismay, Wilhelm Nienhaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Maximo Horquizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo da Silva in the 41st minute of play. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maureen Franco in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute Wilhelm Nienhaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Horquizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Maureen Franco came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo da Silva to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilhelm Nienhaus to strike the kick off in the second half. Gigel Elenescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maureen Franco in the 65th minute of play. Gigel Elenescu scored 0-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximo Horquizar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Buceo's Yao Yan Sen was substituted for Rainier Gregoire. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charly Good in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Jarstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximo Horquizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Xavies Casavela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavies Casavela struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Rune Jarstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo. 94 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Xavies Casavela came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charly Good, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Although Sporting Buceo had been in control for most of the match, Hertha 1969 still came away with the win.
