Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 8th minute of play. When AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save AFC Koolkerke from getting a goal against them. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 38th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Robertinho Carabajal made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos de Carelia's zone, Robertinho Carabajal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal and Robertinho Carabajal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robertinho Carabajal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Nestor Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half AFC Koolkerke were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robertinho Carabajal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Vecdi Tamkut charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vecdi Tamkut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Vecdi Tamkut. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal and Robertinho Carabajal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robertinho Carabajal might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robertinho Carabajal ran back to his position shaking his head. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Lobos de Carelia from getting a goal against them. Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joseph Smits 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavao Zadro in the 75th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Prospero Perico put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ulises Steven. Lobos de Carelia's Cristobal Lia was substituted for Pavao Zadro. 88 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC Koolkerke's attentive Clóvis Bittencourt managed to snatch the ball when Vecdi Tamkut made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. Saul Montrel scored 2-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulises Steven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
