But to his dismay, Wilhelm Nienhaus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Folke Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moritz Hasenjäger in the 13th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Wilhelm Nienhaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 17th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Nilsson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jimmy Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo da Silva in the 28th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hertha 1969's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moritz Hasenjäger in the 29th minute. Julien Staffelbach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Rune Jarstein made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gigel Elenescu in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rune Jarstein came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Linköpings AIK's Albin Nilsson. But to his dismay, Albin Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Moritz Hasenjäger made a great header on Hertha 1969's corner, it was just that Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson managed to reach the ball for a save. 39 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julien Staffelbach. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Hertha 1969 from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein got control of the ball when Julien Staffelbach tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Wilhelm Nienhaus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hertha 1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arvid Carlsson was the one to do the kick off. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. Jimmy Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 53rd minute of play. Jimmy Olsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 56th minute. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julien Staffelbach in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus. Wilhelm Nienhaus kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 60thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Linköpings AIK's keeper Jimmy Olsson was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Benedikt Bensch kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilhelm Nienhaus got free with Jimmy Olsson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils Svensson lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 71 minutes into the game, one of Linköpings AIK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Nilsson in the 74th minute of play. When Linköpings AIK's Julien Staffelbach in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hertha 1969's goalie prevented a goal. If Albin Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linköpings AIK made a substitution. Joakim Mikaelsson replaced Willy Witarya. Gigel Elenescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jimmy Olsson made a huge save. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Julien Staffelbach notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein. Rune Jarstein was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
