Linköpings AIK were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Errecaborda AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Willy Witarya took the corner. The corner led Linköpings AIK's Willy Witarya to fire away a dangerous shot which Edmond Verdun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julien Staffelbach made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 26thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Edmond Verdun would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Sandalio to make the kick off. Isidro Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jimmy Olsson made a huge save. Linköpings AIK had won after a very even match.
