Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maureen Franco got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Saul Montrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Horquizar came out of the goal and Saul Montrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prospero Perico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Horquizar having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Maureen Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Maureen Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nestor Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Jakue in the 22nd minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Perico to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Jakue came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match, Saul Montrel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximo Horquizar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Isaias Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Jakue in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Pavao Zadro came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Maureen Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Sporting Buceo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pavao Zadro to strike the kick off in the second half. Nestor Cortez was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Isaias Jakue capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isaias Jakue really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 56 minutes, Charly Good mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Buceo and the Lobos de Carelia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Charly Good got a free kick in the 57th minute. The corner led Lobos de Carelia's Horacio Oliverios to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximo Horquizar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nestor Cortez made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Isaias Jakue sent off a good shot on target. Maximo Horquizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maureen Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maureen Franco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Maureen Franco got a free kick in the 67th minute. Sporting Buceo's Yao Yan Sen was substituted for Rainier Gregoire. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Xinto Carreiras replaced Isaias Jakue. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xinto Carreiras got free with Nestor Cortez in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xinto Carreiras in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Sporting Buceo booed when Lobos de Carelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Montrel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Saul Montrel got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Lia in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xinto Carreiras got free with Nestor Cortez in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xinto Carreiras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Nestor Cortez made a huge save. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Lobos de Carelia from getting a goal against them. Maureen Franco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
