The audience was convinced that Maureen Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Lima was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 11th minute of the match Machados FC V2 got a corner. Sporting Buceo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hildeberto Cortez ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 14th minute, Xinto Carreiras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rodrigo Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xinto Carreiras in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainier Gregoire in the 33rd minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xinto Carreiras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Lima made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maureen Franco got free with Rodrigo Lima in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maureen Franco in the 39th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maureen Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rodrigo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Rodrigo Lima throw himself and got hold of the ball when Maureen Franco in the 43rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Xinto Carreiras made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maureen Franco in the 56th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maureen Franco scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodrigo Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rodrigo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavies Casavela in the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Yao Yan Sen came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting Buceo fully deserved thier win.
