When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Robertinho Carabajal sped through Fc Śrem Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Zangari. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Koolkerke's zone, Zachariasz Maziarz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Steven came out of the goal and Zachariasz Maziarz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Fc Śrem Team booed when AFC Koolkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Smits didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zachariasz Maziarz. After 23 minutes Fc Śrem Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tang Di Nan who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Tang Di Nan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Śrem Team's Christian Zangari did a great save. Christian Zangari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Smits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariasz Maziarz came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Maziarz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ulises Steven came out and tried to block the shot, but Zachariasz Maziarz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Ulises Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zachariasz Maziarz in the 40th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zachariasz Maziarz to make the kick off. A collision led to AFC Koolkerke getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tang Di Nan hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Jacek Krzynowek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Śrem Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Koolkerke the free kick. Jacek Krzynowek kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Fc Śrem Team's Wasyl Malik was substituted for Zachariasz Maziarz. AFC Koolkerke's Clóvis Bittencourt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Feliks Mazurkiewicz in the 69 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wasyl Malik in the 71st minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Robertinho Carabajal took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Christian Zangari to make any attempt to save it. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Malik in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match, Robertinho Carabajal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christian Zangari was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The AFC Koolkerke supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC Koolkerke would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
