When Harmen Kloppenburg fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Balverliefd's protests and gave Harmen Kloppenburg a yellow card for diving instead. Harmen Kloppenburg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Wu Lei Han didn't quite understand what happened when in the 23 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 27 minutes, Giannis Chatziioannou made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. SV Balverliefd's Yorrick Zoethout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save SV Balverliefd from getting a goal against them. Yorrick Zoethout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Chatziioannou in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Skyfall's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Homan came free, but Bradley Allcock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giannis Chatziioannou to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Giannis Chatziioannou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Zoethout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes SV Balverliefd got a freekick which was hit by Benny De Potter. After a defensive mix-up in SV Balverliefd's zone, Wu Lei Han stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yorrick Zoethout came out of the goal and Wu Lei Han tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
