One of Cascade Park West:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Machados FC V2:s goal. Cascade Park West:s Dario Wilhelm showed great skill when he stopped Pascoal Espírito Santo:s penalty. Machados FC V2's António Varanda got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Varanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Machados FC V2 fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Machados FC V2's António Varanda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima got control of the ball when Amir Lee tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matthias Tham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Wilhelm having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and António Varanda made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's António Varanda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dario Wilhelm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute Waldo Renteria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Machados FC V2 made a substitution. The audience was convinced that António Varanda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Wilhelm was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Rodrigo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allen Dalton in the 72nd minute of the match. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Varanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute António Varanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Renteria came free, but Rodrigo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Dalton to maneuver through the defense. António Varanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Wilhelm having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Machados FC V2 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
